I like the Dunlop string packages, they are different so they stand out a little more. As far as my personal favorite packaging Solinco has some sweet stuff.

  2. David Henry says:

Thanks for the input, Dan. I agree… SOLINCO has some great packaging as well. My favorite SOLINCO package is for Barb Wire – I just didn’t have one on hand for my video.

    Take care.

Hi, new to site, looks good and thanks for all the hard work.

I prefer my packaging to be simple cardboard, with cutout to display the strings and simple graphics. The Dunlop is kinda of neat, but I could see myself getting them tangled up becuase of the exposed loops.

  4. David Henry says:

Hey Duke – welcome to Inspired Tennis, and thanks for the kind words about my site.

Also, thanks for the input on the packaging. Good point about the exposed loops. I haven’t put the Dunlop strings up on my wall rack yet, so I can’t say whether this would be an “issue” or not.

    Take care.

I think that solinco barb wire and outlast are really cool looking

  6. David Henry says:

Yeah – I agree. All of SOLINCO’s packaging is very nice. Of all of their packages, I like Barb Wire the best.

    Take care.

I just got a shipment of strings this afternoon. Inside was some Wislon synthetic gut, Genesis Thunder Blast and Babolat (forget which string). I like the Wilson string packaging most. The thing I really appreciate on their packaging is that little bar thing that shows the play characteristics of the string. I like being able to compare products that way. The Genesis is fairly drab, but I prefer that cardboard to the plastic packaging Babolat is using. The cardboard will go in my burn barrel (gotta love Alaska. We burn everything!), but the plastic packaging from Babolat will go in the landfill. Too bad they didn’t do something with the interior of that package to allow you to repurpose the thing after you get the string out.

Thanks for the input, Ken. In Ohio, I recycle cardboard. Burning it sounds like more fun, but if I did that, I might find the police at my front door. 🙂

    Take care.

I’d recycle too, if it was an option. Thenearesr recycling center is a 900 mile barge ride away.

  10. David Henry says:

Burning sounds like your best option. 🙂
