Rough Ride for My Learn To String DVD Course

This past week, I received the package pictured above in the mail. It is one of my Learn To String DVD Courses that was returned to me. My immediate reaction was, “Oh crap. Something went wrong, and I need to get a customer his/her DVD right away.”
Then as I began to examine the package, I realized it was one that was sent to the UK over a year ago! For whatever reason, this course got caught up in Customs. I knew my customer didn’t receive the course, so I made alternative shipping arrangements to get another one to him right away – but I figured this one was simply lost forever. Well… As you can see, it made its way back “home” – just a full year later. Lol.
My guess is that Customs in the UK held it for a year, and then purged it from their “holding area” and sent it back to me. Who knows? Anyway…
As you can see, it is chock full of stickers and stamps (even one from the “Royal Mail”), and this package certainly appears to have had a rough ride.

That customs issue does get to be a mess. I had to wait about 3 months to get a racquet delivered last year. It was nerve racking for me during that time. At least you received it back to you.
Yeah – I ship internationally from time to time. Sometimes the shipping process goes smoothly – other times not so much. Just depends on where its going. 🙂
