    On the crosses I find it hard to push the cross string through the mains in ones stroke because of the friction of the mains

    Hey Mark – It can be tough – especially depending on the type of string. If it is a syn gut or soft multi (or even natural gut), it is fairly easy. Co-poly strings are tougher. Like with most things in life, it gets easier over time with practice. When I first started stringing, I couldn’t go all the way across in one motion. Now I can. 🙂 Just keep practicing.
